Navdeep Saini Biography
Navdeep Saini is an Indian Cricketer who has played for Delhi since 2013. He made his international debut for the India cricket team in August 2019.
He was born on 23 November 1992 in Karnal, Haryana. He was very passionate about playing cricket since childhood, especially he loved bowling more.
He started playing cricket from the sixth Class. He used to play cricket with his friends outside the house. He used to practice bowling by making flower pots as stumps. For this, his father always scolded him. It had become his daily routine.
Mitchell Starc and Brett Lee was his ideal. His bowling speed is 140 km/hr.
Despite being such a good player, he could not join any cricket academy because he had no money. Then he was recognized by a Delhi bowler Sumit Narwal. Which helped him to get into a cricket academy in Delhi. Whether it was Navdeep’s luck or the result of his hard work, in that academy he got the responsibility to practice the net practice of Gautam Gambhir, who was part of the Indian cricket team, which proved to be a turning point for him.
Gautam Gambhir was impressed with his bowling, then he got a chance to debut in a match against Vidarbha for Delhi on 14 December. In which he took 2 wickets.
On January 2, 2016, he made a debut in T20I.
IPL Career
In the auction for the 11th IPL held on 27 January 2018, Navdeep Saini was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 3 crores, while his base price was 20 lakhs.
Navdeep Saini’s bowling was highlighted in the news. Navdeep Saini bats with the right hand and bowls medium fast with the right hand. He specializes in dodging batsmen thanks to his swing and accurate bowling. He is one of India’s emerging fast bowlers who can throw balls with a speed of more than 140 kilometers per hour.
The fastest ball was bowled by South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada (154.23 km/hr) during the 2019 IPL tournament. The second place was Navdeep Saini (152.85 km/hr).
